Praying the Rosary
KS2 children learn to pray the Rosary. The main focus for this happens in October with it being the month of the Holy Rosary and May which is the month dedicated to Mary.

Prayer Progression
As part of our Catholic faith life, the children pray daily. As the children move up the school from Reception to Year 6 , the prayers they learn develop and help to deepen their understanding of the power and and spiritual enrichment attributed to daily worship.

Lent Prayer Bags
To help us on our Lenten journey, children will be given the opportunity to take home prayer bags.
Advent Prayer Bags
During Advent children were given the opportunity to take home an Advent prayer bag.
Prayer Bear
Children in the Reception Class use a prayer bear to help them with their prayers.
Learning about Prayer
Chaplaincy Team making Prayer Pots
The Chaplaincy Team have made prayer pots to help children lead prayer in their classes. Each class prayer pot contains lolly sticks which displays an area on which to focus prayer on.

Year 6 and the Chaplaincy Team have been working on prayer posters.
